View Your Account Settings

Only an administrator can edit your account settings. You can, however, view your settings if you need to.

  1. Click Softphone > Account Settings. Alternatively, you can access your account settings by clicking the down arrow beside your Outgoing Account number and selecting Account Settings.
  2. View your account settings in the table. The table contain the following information about your account:
    • Enabled — When the checkbox is selected, the account has been successfully registered and is ready for calls.
    • Account Name — The descriptive name given to the account.
    • Status — The registration status of each account. The Status is one of:
      • Ready — The account is registered and can be used for calls (SIP).
      • Registering — The account is in the process of registering.
      • Failed — The account is enabled but registration failed.
      • Disabled — The account is disabled.
    • Protocol — An SIP protocol is required for making phone calls, so each account in CXone Softphone should have a value of SIP.
    • User ID — Your 12-digit softphone number.
    • Call — How the account is used for handling calls, indicated by an icon. A green checkmark indicates the preferred account for calls. A gray dot indicates the account can be used for outgoing calls if you select it when placing a call. No icon indicates the account cannot be used for phone calls.
  3. When you are done viewing your account settings, click OK.
