View Your Account Settings
Only an administrator can edit your account settings. You can, however, view your settings if you need to.
- Click Softphone > Account Settings. Alternatively, you can access your account settings by clicking the down arrow beside your Outgoing Account number and selecting Account Settings.
- View your account settings in the table. The table contain the following information about your account:
- Enabled — When the checkbox is selected, the account has been successfully registered and is ready for calls.
- Account Name — The descriptive name given to the account.
- Status — The registration status of each account. The Status is one of:
- Ready — The account is registered and can be used for calls (SIP).
- Registering — The account is in the process of registering.
- Failed — The account is enabled but registration failed.
- Disabled — The account is disabled.
- Protocol — An SIP protocol is required for making phone calls, so each account in CXone Softphone should have a value of SIP.
- User ID — Your 12-digit softphone number.
- Call — How the account is used for handling calls, indicated by an icon. A green checkmark indicates the preferred account for calls. A gray dot indicates the account can be used for outgoing calls if you select it when placing a call. No icon indicates the account cannot be used for phone calls.
- When you are done viewing your account settings, click OK.
