OnPreview

The onPreview action in an event action that creates a branch in your script. It executes when a preview happens for a contact.

 

Dependencies

  • ONPREVIEW is an event.
  • The ONPREVIEW event is not triggered until the prospective contact enters a Preview state (Proactive Outbound only).
  • When Onpreview triggers, any script that was executing before the contact entered the Preview state may be terminated. The script may resume from ONPREVIEW, otherwise, the script will be suspended.
  • The actions RUNSUB and RUNAPP cannot be used following the ONPREVIEW event.
  • The Snippet action can be used following ONPREVIEW, but it cannot reference or call other custom Studio scripts.
  • API calls can be referenced within a Snippet action following ONPREVIEW, but cannot be used to secure access tokens for API calls.

Result Branch Conditions

Result branch conditions allow you to create branches in your script to handle different outcomes when an action executes.

Path taken unless the script meets a condition that requires it to take one of the other branches. It is also taken if the action's other branches are not defined.
