Subscriptions are a way you can use certain CXone Mpower services, such as transcription, in various parts of the platform. Subscribing to a service creates a connection between that service and another application in the CXone Mpower platform. Currently, transcription is the only service available as a subscription.
Transcript Subscriptions
A transcript subscription allows you to use a transcription service with CXone Mpower applications that need transcripts. Transcription is the process of converting spoken audio into text. It's sometimes called speech-to-text or STT.
A transcript subscription subscribes a CXone Mpower application to receive transcripts from your transcription service. When a subscription is in place, the transcript is generated, then shared with the subscribed application. The subscribed application receives the transcript and uses it for its intended purpose.
To set up and use a transcript subscription, you must create the subscription, then customize the Studio script where you need the transcript using a CONFIGURE Transcript SUBSCRIPTION Studio action. Currently, the only application you can create a transcript subscription for is CXone Mpower Copilot for Supervisors.
