Implementation

This page provides an overview of what you need to know when implementing NiCE CXone for your organization. Implementation is a complex process that requires a lot of information. To ensure that you have what you need, follow the steps on this page.

The NiCE CXone platform isn't designed to interact with a traffic inspection proxy service, like Netscope or Zscaler. If you decide to use a proxy service, you must configure it to work with NiCE CXone yourself.

  1. Read and understand the implementation expectations.
  2. Obtain a list of all NiCE CXone applications your organization uses from your Account Representative.
  3. Review the platform availability if you need to know what regions the applications you use are available in, or if they're available for FedRAMP.
  4. Review the supported languages if you need to know what languages each NiCE CXone application is available in.
  5. Read the Connectivity in NiCE CXone and Telephony in NiCE CXone help pages. These pages are especially helpful if you're new to or unfamiliar with connectivity or telephony concepts. If you're an experienced connectivity or telephony professional, these pages can provide valuable context for how connectivity in NiCE CXone is managed.
  6. Use the Platform Requirements page to learn the specific requirements of the NiCE CXone applications your organization uses.
  7. Learn the FQDNs, IP addresses, and ports that your organization needs to open or allow for NiCE CXone system communications, voice implementations, and specific NiCE CXone application needs. You have two options for this discovery:

  8. Use the System Email page to learn the IP addresses you need to allow for the kinds of email your organization uses.
  9. Use the VDI Support page if your organization uses virtual desktops. This page provides the information you need to use virtual desktops with NiCE CXone.
