Gamification

The Gamification module is designed to create an engaging, rewarding path to providing performance and transparency that leads to better customer experiences.

Admin

The Admin section under the Gamification module allows supervisors to create and manage different games, challenges, awards, and budget. This section helps them to effectively manage admin level activities at a single place.

Go to Left-nav > Gamification > Admin.

Games

The Games tab allows you to create and manage games to help motivate and engage your team.

Click New Game to add a new game.

Click View History for a glimpse into each game's effectiveness. Game Breakdown data can be used to compare a player's current and past performances. Adjust game settings as need to improve results and achieve desired outcomes.

To see Game Breakdown data for a specific game, choose the game from the Games tab landing page, click Options then select View History.

Challenges

The Challenges tab allows you to manage performance challenges settings to motivate and engage your team.

Creating a New Challenge

  1. Click Settings to create a new challenge.
  2. If you want the challenge for the same day, select Same Day Challenges.
  3. Select the Level from the Company or Team options. The Company option applies to all members of your company and the Team option applies to certain teams within your organization.
  4. Click + Add to select a metrics for which a challenge will be created.
  5. Click Save to save a new challenge.

Awards

The Awards tab allows you to create and manage awards.

Creating a New Award

  1. Click New Award to create a new award.
  2. Enter Award Details:

    • Type the name of the award in the Name field.

    • Provide a description in the Description field.

    • Select a folder from the Choose Folder dropdown menu.

  3. Choose a Badge to add to your award.

  4. If you want to include coins as well, enter the amount in the Add Coins field.
    Adding coins is optional.

  5. Select the Roles and assign Groups to which this award can be given.

  6. Click Save to create the award or Cancel to discard changes.

Use Awards History to track awards given over time. You can also view details such as the award name, coin amount, recipient, sender, and award date.

Budget

The Budget tab helps you monitor and manage coin allocations in gamification. It doesn't automatically prevent overspending, but it shows you how you’re using your budget and lets you set up alerts.

With the Budget tab, you can:

  • Set up your budget

  • View your budget history

  • Set up budget notifications

Setting up your budget

  1. On the Budget tab, click Change Budget.
  2. Select a Group Level (Company or Team).
  3. Enter the budget amount in coins.
  4. Click Apply to save.

The budget starts on the day you create it and resets monthly.

Monitoring Your Budget

The Budget Meter shows:

  • Overall budget usage for the current month

  • Breakdown by group

Click See More for a detailed group breakdown.

Viewing Budget History

The Budget History chart lets you compare coin allocation:

  • Day-by-Day

  • Month-over-Month

For group-specific budgets, use the dropdown to select a group.

The Budget tab helps you monitor spending but won't automatically prevent overspending. Use it to proactively manage your coin allocations.

Budget Notifications

Budget Notifications are designed to help you manage your coin budget effectively by alerting you when specific portions of your budget have been awarded. These notifications ensure you stay informed and avoid overspending, especially when managing multiple teams or projects.

Setting Up Budget Notifications

  1. Use the toggle to Enable Notifications.
  2. Select notification thresholds for when you want to be notified, from 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%of your coin budget being awarded. You can select one or multiple thresholds based on your preferences..
  3. Click Edit to add recipients. You can select recipients using the Group selector.
  4. Click Save.

You'll receive notifications in the Notification Center.
