Recording Export API Usage Report
The Recording Export API Usage Report provides a comprehensive view of API usage, including detailed metrics for downloaded and played-back recordings. This report is essential for organizations to easily view and analyze their API usage over time, helping them estimate billing charges and ensure that usage stays within the acceptable limits to avoid additional fees. By tracking monthly activity, teams can ensure their usage stays within acceptable limits and avoid unexpected costs.
John Middleton, the CXone Mpower administrator for Classics, Inc., wants to check how many interactions were downloaded or played back during a specific time period so he can estimate usage-based billing charges.
To do this, John opens the widget Settings and uses the date selector to choose a custom date range.
For example, he selects:
-
From: July 7, 2025
-
To: October 10, 2025 (max 95 days after July 7)
After he applies the dates, the widget shows the API usage for all interactions that occurred within this range. The data is grouped by month and displayed in a table so John can easily compare the number of downloaded/played back interactions against the total interactions for each month.
