Co-Browse in Agent Embedded

Co-browsing allows you to share interactive browser sessions with contacts. This helps you share information with them faster. Your administrator must enable this for you.

  1. If you're handling a call, click Launch icon: a box with an arrow pointing up.Initiate CoBrowse.

  2. If you're handling a digital message, click Options icon of three dots stacked vertically. at the top right of the open interaction or the voice control panel, then select Co-browse.

  3. In the new tab that opens:

    • Enter a URL to start a new co-browsing session.

    • Enter a PIN number to join an existing co-browsing session.

  4. Click Start Session.

  5. If you started a new session, the Invite Participants window appears. Here, you can share the co-browsing session with the contact by:

    • Clicking Copy link. Paste the link into a message to the contact. When the contact clicks the link, they join the co-browsing session.

    • Entering the contact's Email address. The contact receives an email from no-reply@surfly.com. When the contact clicks Join Session in the email, they join the co-browsing session.

  6. To end co-browse, click End Session Icon of a power button: a circle with a line at the top. in the top right. Click End for all to end the session for all participants. Click Leave session to allow it to continue for the other participants.

Co-Browse Controls

This table explains the clickable icons at the top of your co-browse screen.

New tab
Icon of a plus sign.
Open a new tab in the co-browsing session.
Give control
Icon of a cursor: a white arrow.
Allow a participant you select to control the tabs in the session. This includes scrolling, clicking, and switching between tabs.
Enter drawing mode
Icon of a pencil.
Use a highlighter to call attention to parts of the page. Your highlights will disappear after five seconds.
Start video chat
Icon of a video camera.

Video chat with the participants.

Toggle chat
Icon of two chat bubbles.
Open a chat with the participants on the side of the co-browsing window.
Set screen size
Icon of a smartphone next to a laptop.
Change the screen size for different participants. This is useful if a contact is using a smartphone.
End session
Icon of a power button: a circle with a line at the top.
End the co-browsing session.
