Publish a New Schedule
Whenever you create a schedule in the Schedule Manager, or make changes to a newly generated schedule, you can save the changes in CXone WFM.
However, saving the schedule does not distribute it to your agents. To push new schedules out to your agents, you have to publish the schedule.
Publishing a schedule distributes it to the agents who have a shifts during the published time period. Agents will receive a notification telling them they have a schedule update and their schedule will be visible in their MyZone application.
-
When making changes to a schedule that has already been distributed, you will be prompted to Save & Publish. The updates will automatically be distributed to the agents whose schedules have been updated.
-
Moving an agent from a published scheduling unit to an unpublished scheduling unit creates a conflict. The agent won't see the shifts in MyZone despite previously receiving a notification that the shift was published. MyZone will show the agent's schedule after the new scheduling unit is published.
To publish a new schedule:
-
Click the app selector and select CXone WFM.
-
Click Schedule Manager.
-
Once you've saved any changes you made, click Publish.
-
Select a Start Date, and the length of the publishing period. You can distribute up to four weeks of the schedule at a time.
-
Selecting the length automatically provides the end date of the schedule.
-
Click Publish. If you're editing a published schedule
