When an optimization plan is ready, you can use it to optimize the schedule. You can create optimization rules that generate a recurring plan.

Schedule Optimization Rules: This feature allows you to set up rules that generate an optimization plan. These plans adjust activities in the schedule for better staffing balance. The optimizer first looks at the whole shift and finds intervals with over or understaffing. Then it moves the scheduled breaks across the shift to improve the net staffing. You receive these optimization plans on the day and time defined in the rule.
Schedule Optimization Plans: Optimization plans are generated on designated recurring days, based on the rules. The plans suggest schedule adjustments to the activities. Use the plans to improve your team's net staffing and productivity for the rest of the day. You can review each active plan or see the expired plans in the History tab.
Review Schedule Optimization Plans: This feature allows you to see all the generated optimization plans and review them in more detail. You can see the break activities for both current and optimized schedules in the plan, as well as a breakdown of data by skills and intervals. When you review an active plan, click Optimize to adjust the activities and optimize the net staffing for the day.
