Generate a Bid
Supervisors use shift bidding templates to generate weekly shift patterns. These patterns represent different options for a weekly shift.
Supervisors assign bidding templates to scheduling units. CXone WFM generates shift patterns for all employees in those scheduling units. Depending on employee availability, different shift patterns may be generated.
Anne and Jack are in the same scheduling unit, but they have different availability. There are two templates assigned to their scheduling unit. One is a full-time template, and one is part-time. The bids generated for the scheduling unit will include different shift patterns for Anne and Jack.
Supervisors can open bidding for weekly shift patterns as soon as they're generated. The patterns will be sent to the employees for bidding right away.
How many weekly shift patterns are sent out?
This is based either on a forecasted staffing plan, or on an uploaded CSV file. If a supervisor needs ten weekly shift patterns based on the forecast, then ten will be sent out. A week with a holiday might only need five weekly shift patterns.
