Download and Install DB Connector
Install this application on the DB Connector server. Prior to performing this task, be sure your server meets the minimum requirements.
Install DB Connector (MSI)
Follow these steps if you're installing DB Connector using the MSI file.
- Click your initials in the top right corner of CXone Mpower and select Support and Downloads.
- Accept the legal message.
- Click DBConnector (MSI) and save the file.
- Double-click the MSI file to run the DB Connector installation wizard.
- Continue through the installation process. The default installation location is C:\Program Files (x86)\InContact\.
- Click Install.
- After the installation finishes, click Finish to exit the wizard.
Install DB Connector (EXE)
Follow these steps if you're installing DB Connector using the EXE file.

In CXone Mpower, click your initials in the top right corner of the window, then click Support and Downloads.
- Click Accept when the legal message appears. If you have not already read the legal message, NICE encourages you to do so.
- Click DBConnector (EXE) in the list of applications. Depending on your browser's file download settings, it may automatically begin downloading a DBConnector (EXE) file or it may prompt you to save the file in a specific location.
- Launch the DBConnector (EXE) file after the download completes, which begins installing DB Connector.
Log in to DB Connector
DB Connector uses the CXone Mpower Global Authentication service to handle log in requests. This means you can use your CXone Mpower log in credentials with DB Connector.
- Run DB Connector as an administrator by right-clicking on the DBCCFG.exe file and selecting Run as Administrator.

Select a Login Type.

Select to log in using CXone Mpower Global Authentication single sign-on.
CXone Mpower Custom Select this option only if instructed to do so by your administrator. This option only works if your organization uses a custom single sign-on solution. If you select this option, you are prompted to enter an authorization URL. Your administrator can provide this URL for you. - Enter your User Name and Password, then click Login.
- If your organization requires multi-factor authentication (MFA), complete the required MFA steps.
