CREATEEMAIL

The first step in creating and sending an email. This action creates a structured variable to hold the components of the email. Additional email actions, such as Addtoaddr action and Addbody action create the smaller pieces of the email that are saved in the structured variable. The final step is to send the email with a Sendemail action action. Technically, the Createemail creates a C# class that can be invoked within a Snippet action action.

Input Properties

These properties define data that the action uses when executing.

Property	Description
Add Caption	Enter a short phrase that uniquely identifies this action in the script. The caption appears on the script canvas under the action icon.
Container Variables	The name of the structured variable that contains all other variables. EML is the default name.
Subject	The subject of the email. If a subject is not entered, the email will not be sent.
Contact Id	The variable that holds the contact ID A unique numerical identifier assigned to each contact., such as {ContactId}.
OriginalVar	The name of the structured variable created by a GETEMAIL action.

Result Branch Conditions

Result branch conditions allow you to create branches in your script to handle different outcomes when an action executes.

Condition	Description
Default	Path taken unless the script meets a condition that requires it to take one of the other branches. It is also taken if the action's other branches are not defined.
