This API is available for Engagement Hub users with voice or screen recording functionality.
The Business Data Updates API lets an agent update business data during an ongoing call for a specific user. It can enrich call metadata with business data or start call recording based on a recording policy with defined business data filters.
You can pass up to 50 key-value data items in the body. The business data provided must be a defined business data field in the system, as described in Business Data.
This API requires the Interactions Hub >APIs > Multi-ACD Record on Demand API permission.
