Manage Your CXone Softphone Devices

Configure Your Headset Settings

  1. Click Softphone > Preferences.
  2. Click the Devices tab.
  3. Select the Headset Mode tab.
  4. To change your speaker, click the Speaker drop-down and select your preferred device.
  5. To change your microphone, click the Microphone drop-down and select your preferred device.
  6. Click OK.

Configure Your Speakerphone Settings

  1. Click Softphone > Preferences.
  2. Click the Devices tab.
  3. Select the Speakerphone Mode tab.
  4. To change your speaker, click the Speaker drop-down and select your preferred device.
  5. To change your microphone, click the Microphone drop-down and select your preferred device.
  6. Select the Reduce Echoes from Speakers (AEC) checkbox if it is not already selected and you are having a problem with echos in your audio.
  7. Click OK.

Specify the Device You Want to Ring When You Receive a Call

  1. Click Softphone > Preferences.
  2. Click the Devices tab.
  3. Select the Other Devices tab.
  4. Click the Ring on drop-down and select your preferred device.
  5. Click OK.

Test Your Device

  1. Click Softphone > Preferences.
  2. Click Test Devices and see Troubleshoot Issues with Your Device for instructions.
