Rename the Root Division

Required Permissions: Divisions > Division  > Update

The root division is created automatically when divisions are initially enabled in your system. Its default name is Root Division, but you can rename it.

The root division is the child of the default division, which cannot be renamed. All other divisions that you create are children of the root division.

1. Click the app selector and select Admin.

2. Under Security Settings, click Divisions.

3. On the Divisions page, click Root Division.

4. Enter a new Name for the root division.

5. Click Save.

Modify a Division

Required Permissions: Divisions > Division  > Update

You can modify a division's name, description, and billing code. You cannot change a division's parent division.

1. Click the app selector and select Admin.

2. Under Security Settings, click Divisions.

3. On the Divisions page, click a division.

4. Enter a new Name for the division.

5. Enter a Description for the division. This is optional and for internal use.
6. If you want to add or change the division's Billing Code, do one of the following:
   1. Click Enter a code and enter a numeric code of between one and ten digits.
   2. Click Select an existing code and choose a code from the drop-down.

   Click Save.
