Changing the Branding

Use the Set Guide Branding action to change the appearance of the Guide template that appears on a page to match the appearance of the website.

Before creating this action, you should create the Guide template to use and define the branding settings for each website. If you are using the default branding for all of your templates, you do not need to use this action.

Juan, the website administrator for Classics, Inc., wants to define a template once and reuse it across three e-commerce websites. To make the templates complement the appearance of the individual websites, he creates a branding for each website. Then, when using the Set Guide Template action to display a template, he also uses the Set Guide Branding action to set the branding to use.

  1. Click the app selector and select Guide.

  2. Click New Rule or click on an existing rule to edit it.

  3. Click Action to display a list of actions.

  4. Select the Set Guide Branding action.

  5. On the right side of the page, select the branding to use.

A mockup of a Guide template appears using the new branding.

  6. Add one or more conditions to the rule.

  7. Click Save Rule.
